  Police in southern Nigeria's Delta state said they "arrested more than 100 suspected gay men at a hotel where a same-sex wedding ceremony was taking place". The term "gay" generally refers to someone who is homosexual, meaning they are emotionally, romantically, and/or sexually attracted to people of the same sex.
