“I want to take your subway line. If I ask for free land, don't give it to me," Tinubu said. , "But he provides the subway to help as many Nigerians as possible.

" , Wike, a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), an opposition party, was one of 45 ministers appointed by Tinubu. Tinubu commissioned Wike with providing metro lines in Abuja for the benefit of the city. The President spoke in Abuja on Sunday to announce the opening of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) annual conference.



He described Wiki as "the owner of Abuja". During Wednesday's inspection, Wike said the Abuja Collective Rail Transport (ARMT) is expected to be completed within eight months.

The FCT minister took the train from the subway station, went through the Idu station and then to the airport station. The railway, which was built in six stages, was financed with loans from China EXIM Bank.

It was commissioned by former President Muhammadu Buhari on July 12, 2018, but was vacated soon after, mainly due to vandalism.

Wike criticized the dysfunctional state of the rail system and said one of his priorities is to address the challenges faced by public transport at FCT. He added that the rail network, if completed, would significantly reduce traffic in the city.

The Lagos State Police Command has officially affirmed the apprehension of renowned Lagos socialite Sam Larry, whose real name is Balogun Eletu.  This arrest is part of an ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the tragic passing of the late singer, Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba.
