Nobody can suspend me in PDP— Wike boast

Federal Capital Territory FCT MINISERA Nyesom Wike boasted yesterday that he has yet to meet the party leader who would suspend him from the party. In an interview with Channels Television, Wike also said that governance is not about belonging to a political party. 


When asked whether it was right to accept a post in the APC-led government, former Governor Rivers replied that he had become FCT minister to support President Bola Tinubu's government, not as a member a political party. His words: “Government is not a party matter. A party is a vehicle that gets you moving.

 I am a member of the PDP - no regrets. “I have never hidden my intentions. As a member of the PDP, I am committed to fairness, equality and justice. “I feel at home working for President Tinubu's government. He is a man who wants the good of the country. “I'm not here to organize a party.


I'm here to support a President who trusts me. I don't owe anyone an apology.” Asked if he was afraid the PDP might suspend him, Wike asked if there was anyone in the party who could suspend him. "How can someone talk about my expulsion? "With all due respect, I have not seen this person. Nobody will.

The question of whether they do it or not therefore does not arise. "Who will discipline me? I should be the one to discipline those who violated the Party's charter on job rotation.»

The Lagos State Police Command has officially affirmed the apprehension of renowned Lagos socialite Sam Larry, whose real name is Balogun Eletu.  This arrest is part of an ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the tragic passing of the late singer, Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba. New information has emerged about the arrest, disclosing that Sam Larry was taken into custody at the Murtala Muhammed  International Airport on a Thursday evening, immediately upon his return from Kenya.
