Rayo Vallecano will be hoping for a third straight La Liga win of the season when he meets Atletico Madrid at the Estadio de Vallecas on Monday. The hosts not only won their first two away games against Almería and Granada, they also kept a clean sheet on both occasions. The clash with Atlético will be the first home game of the season. Atletico Madrid also started the season with a solid win over Granada, with Alvaro Morata, Memphis Depay and Marcos Llorente on the top scorers list. However, in their last La Liga game, they played a goalless draw against Real Betis.

The Lagos State Police Command has officially affirmed the apprehension of renowned Lagos socialite Sam Larry, whose real name is Balogun Eletu.  This arrest is part of an ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the tragic passing of the late singer, Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba. New information has emerged about the arrest, disclosing that Sam Larry was taken into custody at the Murtala Muhammed  International Airport on a Thursday evening, immediately upon his return from Kenya. Without delay, law enforcement authorities transported him to the state police  headquarters for interrogation.
